Toto Construction in Corona, CA | Timberline Contractors
We provide Home Gardens Toto service and independent Toto service across Corona, from a fill valve rebuild on a Drake in a 92879 tract home to a full bath remodel with a Washlet-ready rough-in on a Temescal Valley slope lot. The thing that separates our Toto work here is the ground it sits on: Corona’s expansive clay moves slabs enough that stock wax rings fail early, and the hard Inland Empire water scales fill valves faster than most owners expect. Call (866) 253-5808 for a straight answer and a free estimate.
Timberline Contractors has installed and corrected Toto toilets, Washlets and lavatories across Corona’s older mid-century tracts and the newer subdivisions pushing up against the Santa Ana Mountains, and we also handle Toto service in El Cerrito Corona. We’re not a dealer and not manufacturer-affiliated, so we specify Toto fixtures on their own merits. If a Toto is the right toilet for your Corona bathroom, we’ll say so and install it correctly. If a repair doesn’t pencil out, we’ll say that too.
Why Corona Residents Choose Us for Toto Service
Most Corona homes either run a Toto already or end up wanting one once the bathroom comes apart. The older tract houses near the 91 core, the bigger 1990s and 2000s two-stories in the middle of town, the hilltop builds east of the 15: all of them eventually need a flange repair, a fill valve, or a full bath remodel that includes the toilet rough-in done right. Nelson Fung, our owner and general contractor, learned the trade at Los Angeles Trade-Technical College and has spent years ripping out bad tile and worse plumbing on every kind of Southern California build since.
Our team knows the difference between a Drake that needs a $30 OEM seal and one that needs the flange chipped out of the slab. We stock genuine Toto parts and know which aftermarket internals will change the flush volume on a Tornado-flush bowl. That’s the value: not just fixing the toilet, but knowing whether the fix belongs to the toilet, the water, or the ground under it.

Common Toto Construction Problems We Solve in Corona
- Hard water fill valve scaling on Drake tanks. Corona’s municipal water runs mineral-rich, and over two or three years the calcium deposits on the fill valve seat cause those phantom refill runs where the tank makes a short hiss every twenty minutes. We replace the valve with the genuine Toto part, not a universal aftermarket one.
- Cracked cast iron flanges in older 92879 and 92882 homes. Those mid-century slabs were set with cast iron closet flanges that have been rusting for sixty years. When the flange breaks, the bowl rocks loose, sewer gas seeps through, and the wax ring fails. We set a repair flange into the slab and reseat the bowl on a reinforced connection.
- CEFIONTECT glaze etching from harsh cleaners and chlorinated water. The glaze on an Aquia IV or Promenade II is excellent until someone scrubs it with an acid toilet cleaner a few times. Then waste clings and the bowl stains though the flush is fine. It’s a glaze problem, not a flush problem, and we diagnose it correctly.
- Washlet seat failure in the dry inland climate. Corona’s air dries hard and the water carries scale. Inlet screens clog, the seat stops heating, the wand stops oscillating. We keep OEM Washlet inlet screens and seats on hand for fast turnaround.
- Clay soil movement under Temescal Valley and east Corona hillside slabs. Expansive clay plus winter storm runoff moves floor framing enough that bowls set with standard wax rings leak at the base. We set toilets in those neighborhoods on reinforced flanges and flexible connections.
Toto Service in Corona: What Local Conditions Mean for Your Equipment
Up on the hillside subdivisions east of the 15, in Temescal Valley, and around the Dos Lagos and Eagle Glen areas, plus Toto service in Eastvale, the soil is not a passive thing. It moves. The expansive clay swells in wet winters and shrinks through the long dry season, and over a few cycles that movement telegraphs through the slab enough to take a Toto bowl out of level. A stock wax ring does not survive that. It compresses unevenly, the toilet develops a slight rock, and then the sewer gas finds the gap. We see this constantly on remodels where the original install was done flat-lot style without accounting for the slope. The fix is a reinforced flange set into the tile and a flexible connection that lets the bowl move with the floor instead of fighting it. If you live off of Green River Road or up in the newer tracts off the 15, this is the thing to check before the caulk joint hides a slow leak for two years. On a bathroom remodel in the Dos Lagos area we pulled a Toto Drake whose fill valve was scaled solid from Corona water and whose flange had cracked in the slab, so the bowl rocked and the tank kept refilling all night. We chipped out the old flange, set a repair flange with the tile, replumbed the supply to a Washlet-ready outlet, and reset the bowl with a new fill valve and reinforced connection. Same toilet, no more phantom refills, and the client added a Washlet without cutting a second line.
Toto Models & Products We Service in Corona
We work on the full household Toto lineup: the Drake two-piece with its Tornado flush, the EcoPromenade and Promenade II one-piece bowls, the Aquia IV with CEFIONTECT glaze, and Washlet C5 and S550e bidet seats on existing bowls. For repairs we use genuine Toto fill valves, flush towers, wax-free UniFit-style adapters where the bowl calls for them, and OEM Washlet inlet screens. Aftermarket internals on a Tornado-flush Drake tend to change the flush volume and cancel the reason you bought the toilet in the first place. We keep the common parts stocked for fast Corona turnaround, so a running Drake in a 92878 home doesn’t wait on a parts shipment.

FAQs – Toto Construction in Corona
Almost always both. Corona’s hard water scales the fill valve seal, causing phantom refill runs, and the older slabs in 92879 often have degraded flanges that let the bowl rock and break the seal. We diagnose which one is actually failing, and if it’s the flange we repair that too, not just the valve.
Yes, as long as the bowl is in good shape and there’s a GFCI-protected outlet near the toilet or we rough one in during the remodel. We replumb the supply to a Washlet-ready outlet and install the seat on your existing bowl, which is often cheaper than replacing the toilet entirely. Call (866) 253-5808 and we’ll tell you if your bowl is a good candidate.
The expansive clay soil under Temescal Valley slabs moves over the wet and dry seasons, and the movement telegraphs through the floor enough to unseat a standard wax ring. We set toilets there on reinforced flanges and flexible connections so the bowl stays put when the ground shifts. It’s a solvable problem if the flange is addressed properly.
Heat affects crews and cure times, not the plumbing itself. We schedule concrete and mortar work earlier in the day during July and August, and dry Santa Ana conditions can make thinset cure faster, so we adjust our mixing and cover times. Your Toto fixtures and tile work will be installed to spec regardless of season.
You call us. A repair visit on a running Drake in Corona usually lands in the low hundreds with genuine Toto parts, while a full bath remodel with a new Toto and tile work runs from $9,000 to $28,000 depending on scope. The difference is whether the floor and waterproofing are sound. Call (866) 253-5808 for an exact quote – estimates are free.
